Academy SK students celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday in grand style on Monday, March 4.
As a culmination of our Dr. Seuss unit, students shared their Seuss book reports, and dressed as a favorite Seuss character. During the past week, our students have created Seuss booklets. Each page of the booklet focused on specific story elements from various Seuss stories.
The Seuss unit also incorporated opposites, rhyming words, and word families. We communicated, created, and collaborated to honor the literature of Dr. Seuss.
All students enjoyed dressing as their favorite Dr. Seuss character and sharing their projects and writings.
