Laptop Program
Beginning with the fall semester of the 2011-2012 academic year, high school freshmen and sophomores will be required to bring their own laptop for use in class and at home. Many of our teachers use interactive technology in the classroom and seamless access for students is very important. Academy provides campus-wide wireless Internet to ensure that students have access to the most current tools and online resources.
Technology has and will continue to become increasingly important in our lives, and at Academy we believe students should be able demonstrate a high-degree of computer proficiency before they graduate from high school.
A list of specifications that will make your child’s computer compatible with our system can be found below. We have negotiated educational pricing with several vendors and have included links to their website.
