Merit Scholarship
Academy at the Lakes is pleased to offer Merit Scholarships for new students entering grades 7-12 for the 2010-2011 academic year.
In offering these full and partial awards, Academy seeks to attract qualified candidates who will contribute to our community by participating in the life of the school. At the completion of the process, the Merit Scholarship Committee will review all applicants and determine the list of recipients and award levels. You will be notified as to your student’s eligibility and award level following the Committee’s decision.
Please complete the following steps to process your Merit Scholarship application:

Complete the Application for Admission. Upper Division applicants must also complete the Upper School Candidate Application Supplement.

Attach the $50.00 Application Fee to the Application for Admission.

Complete the Application for Merit Scholarship.

Return the Application for Admission, Application Fee, and Application for Merit Scholarship to the Admissions Office at the McCormick Campus address listed on the right.

Schedule a visitation day and student interview with the Merit Scholarship Committee (you will be contacted to set up an appointment for your child upon receipt of the Merit Scholarship Application).

Register and complete the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test). The test may be registered for online at www.ssat.org. Online registration cost is $110.00 after which an Admission Ticket will be issued to bring with you on the day of testing.
