The Academy at the Lakes Parent Association fosters a feeling of community among families, supports faculty and staff through volunteer opportunities, and provides a bridge for communication between the school and parents. Every parent who has a child that attends Academy at the Lakes is a member of the Parent Association and we are excited to welcome all volunteers – no matter what your time, talent or desire!
Our mission is to spread the message of “the joy in the journey” – for our children and our families.
We have a vibrant homeroom parent support system on the Lower Division, and an active Dad’s Club. There are many events throughout the school year to allow our families to socialize such as the annual fall Parent Mingle, various parent gatherings (new this year!), The Fundraising Gala in the winter and Golf Tournament in the spring.
An important goal for the Parent Association is to show our appreciation and support for our wonderful faculty and staff through Faculty Appreciation events throughout the year.
