Academy at the Lakes believes in a technology-enhanced learning environment that seamlessly integrates modern technology into the classroom to compliment teaching, enhance curricula, support school operations and administration, and raise student achievement. All students have reliable access to, and instruction in, current technology tools in order to provide them with the knowledge and skills required to be successful in school and in life.
Academy at the Lakes has school-wide wireless internet access so all students can utilize online resources to enhance their learning experience. In addition, all students receive a technology-rich curriculum whereby they are able to learn or improve their skills in using computers, operating systems, keyboarding, word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and multimedia. Technology has and will continue to become increasingly important in our lives, and at Academy at the Lakes, the same holds true.
