Seven Academy students competed in the Regional Science Fair. All placed in the top three slots in their category. Six students won first place and will continue to the state science fair.
On December 16, two officers from MacDill Air Force Base, Col. Maldonado and SMSgt. Clark, presented Lower Division Director, Annie Kapetanis, with a certificate of thanks and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the students and parents.
