Portrait of a Graduate

Graduating from Academy at the Lakes is the end of one journey – but the beginning of another. Whether a child starts their Academy journey in PreK3 or high school, we guide our students to be prepared for what lies ahead.

As a college-preparatory school, we expect that each Academy at the Lakes graduate will:

  • Lead by example to inspire purpose and passion in others
  • Embrace opportunities and challenges with poise and self-confidence
  • Think critically and creatively to seek solutions and develop new ideas
  • Balance passion and responsibility in order to achieve individual growth and success
  • Create and nurture meaningful relationships with respect, empathy, and joy

“I came to Academy in Kindergarten because it was an excellent school with small class sizes and great teachers. I stayed for the community, the friends I developed, the teachers, and the traditions and activities. Academy is and will always be a second home to me, and it has prepared me to go out into the world.”
