Academy at the Lakes was pleased to host the Honorable Chaim Shacham, Israeli Consul General to Florida and Puerto Rico. Mr. Shacham spoke to the entire Upper Division student body about Israel, and later held a question and answer session with the JSA and Geography and Contemporary Issues class.

Congratulations to Dillan Villavisanis for being the first ever Academy swimmer to qualify for States. Dillan is one of twenty-four swimmers across the state in Class 1A to qualify in the Breaststroke event. He will compete in the State meet in Orlando on November 11th.
