Lower Division students celebrated the 100th Day of School on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in conjunction with PJ and Hot Cocoa Day: an event in which special guests vision PreK3-Grade 4 classrooms to read stories.

Students donated $1 to the Lower Division Student Council, The Giraffe Club, in exchange for wearing their PJs to school. The donations will support The Giraffe Club’s fundraising efforts such as support for Academy at the Lakes’ sister school in Nepal.

Giraffe Club members delivered donuts and hot cocoa to the students throughout the morning as they enjoyed stories from special guests such as Head of School Mark Heller, Middle Division Director John Pitcairn, Director of Enrollment Management Paul Balser, and Interim Lower Division Director Kathy Heller.
