Jessica Mott Drives in Four as Academy at the Lakes Wildcats Varsity Wins Over Hernando

Jessica Mott was bad news for opposing pitchers on Monday, driving in four on three hits to lead Academy at the Lakes Wildcats Varsity past Hernando 17-2 on Monday. Mott drove in runs on a single in the first, a walk in the second, a double in the third, and a double in the fourth.

Academy at the Lakes Wildcats Varsity secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the second inning. Academy at the Lakes Wildcats Varsity’s offense in the inning came from singles by Tristen Gittens, Devyne Davis, and Vanessa Alexander, a walk by Mott, a home run by Caitlin Blankenship, and an error on a ball put in play by Hannah Church.
