4th of July Cardboard Regatta
Are you looking for a fun activity to do on the 4th? Seven Oaks Clubhouse is hosting its annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. The boats must be made entirely out of cardboard and need to fit two people. Whether your boat is the best or the worst, there are several awards that your family can win. The races begin at 10am and end at 3pm. Good luck!

Did you know that you could spend the 4thof July at the Florida Aquarium? Enjoy their extended hours until 9:30pm, get front row seats for the fireworks, and family entertainment all for the price of admission. You can also enjoy their all-American themed dinner options.

4th of July at Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens will be extending their hours for the 4thof July. Even if you aren’t interested in going there for the rides, you can check out the Actual Bank Robbers who will be performing at 8:30pm and the highly anticipated firework show at 9:30pm. All 4thof July activities are included in the price of admission.

4th of July at the History Center
There is no better way to celebrate Independence Day than by learning about the history of our country. Visit the History Center this 4thand enjoy reduced admission of $5, extended hours and costumed re-enactors giving hands-on demonstrations about many of the great wars in America’s history.

4th of July VIP Fireworks Cruise
Hop aboard the StarShip Yacht for the premiere 4thof July firework experience. This three-hour cruise features a delicious American buffet, a live DJ, dancing, and the best view of the Channelside fireworks.

4th of July Family Funfest
Spend your 4thon a former World War II supply ship, the SS American Victory. Starting at 6:30pm the ship will be hosting a family festival for the holiday that will include live music, a kids’ zone, face painting, games, arts and crafts, and a view of the fireworks from the deck of the ship.

George M. Steinbrenner Baseball Game
On Wednesday, July 4 watch the Tampa Tarpons play the Clearwater Threshers at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The players and coaches will all be in special jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game to benefit Everyday Heroes. Stick around for fireworks later in the afternoon.

4th of July in Downtown St. Petersburg
Downtown St. Pete will be hosting a holiday festival full of activities and fun at Vinoy Park. The festival begins at 5pm and will include food, music, children’s activities, fireworks, and a live broadcast from Q105’s Flash. The fireworks are set to begin at 9pm weather permitting.

All American Tasting
Are you looking for some delicious American bites this 4th? Head over to the All-American tasting at the Local Market in St. Pete. For $17.76 enjoy Chef Jeffery Hileman’s “All American” serving stations which will include some of the best hot dogs, burger bites and apple pie you’ve ever tasted. The tasting starts at 11am. 4th of July Hot Dog Run
Stay active this Independence Day with the Hot Dog Run hosted by Buffalo Wild Wings. The run begins at 10am and you can feel free to run a 5K or walk 1 mile. All finishers receive a t-shirt, wings to sample, an invitation to the family friendly post run party, and of course a hot dog medal.

Clearwater Celebrates America: 4th of July
If you are in the Clearwater area check out the 4th of July celebration at Coachman Park. Along with food and children’s activities the Coachman Park Pops Orchestra with the Wilsons will be performing before the firework display at 9pm. The celebration begins at 4pm leaving plenty of time for fun for the whole family.

Sunset Cinema at Pier 60: Power Rangers (PG-13)
Do you want to do something a little more low-key for your Independence Day? Head over to the Sunset Cinema at Pier 60 to watch Power Rangers on the lawn. The show starts at 8:30pm and is free for anyone who wants to come.

4th of July Picnic
Come to Craig Park in Tarpon Springs for the biggest backyard-style party in the area. Cool down on the waterslide, go paddle boarding, have the kids hop in the bounce house, play lawn games, and maybe join the hot dog eating contest. If that wasn’t enough of a good time, Rusty Trumpet will be there all day playing hits from the ‘60s. This free event starts at 10am.

Tarpon Springs 4th of July Fireworks
Get your chairs and blankets ready to head over to the Tarpon Springs 4thof July Fireworks to watch the best fireworks in Tarpon Springs. The fireworks will begin at 8:30pm and will be launched from Sunset Beach.
Pro Tip – even though the fireworks are being launched from Sunset Beach, the City of Tarpon has said that the best place to view the firework will be from Howard Park.

Poolside Holiday Picnic
Stay cool by hanging out at the pool. This 4th, head over to the Highland Recreation Complex and Family Aquatic Center to not only swim but have a nice poolside picnic. Bring a basket with whatever you want and enjoy your holiday next to the water.

Plant City 4th of July
Plant City’s 4th of July festival has it all! From a rock climbing wall to lawn games and food to military salutes, there is truly something for everyone. Also, as a special treat to the Plant City festival’s guests, live music will be played by Daniel Sprouse and the Barrel Band. The night will end with a spectacular firework show.
The festival is free but has a $5 charge for parking and begins at 6pm.

Make your 4tha baseball filled one! Watch the Dunedin Blue Jays take on the Tarpons on Tuesday, July 2 at 5pm. Get there early to get free entry into the game and stay after to enjoy the fireworks a great firework show.
Safety Harbor 4th of July Celebration
A parade, activities for the kids, live entertainment, food, fireworks and more are what you can expect at the Safety Harbor 4thof July celebration. It all starts on Main Street and moves over to the marina for a beautiful waterfront view of the fireworks starting at 9pm.

If you’re thinking of heading to the Orlando area for the 4th, head over to SeaWorld to see a special Independence Day version of their nightly “Ignite” fireworks and laser show. The show starts at 9:30pm.
