Athletics


Academy has consistently finished among the Top 10 2A school athletic programs in Florida, and the school was honored as Florida’s top 2A private school athletic program during the 2014-15 school year. Read more here.

During the 2016-17 school year, Academy will move up to compete in the 3A division.

Our award winning athletic department offers 14 sports for boys and girls, and fields 40 teams in those sports at the Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity levels. As members of the, Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 2-A Classification, our Wildcats have won multiple district and regional championships, and consistently earn All-District and All-State honors.

Over the last three years, more than 18 percent of Academy’s senior student-athletes have received financial packages to participate in collegiate athletics, compared to the national average of 2 percent.

In keeping with the school’s mission, Academy has a no-cut policy for all athletic teams. More than 70 percent of Academy students in grades 5-12 participate in school-sponsored athletics.
