Academy at the Lakes English Honors Seniors Reenact Hamlet

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Seniors at Academy at the Lakes got creative with their English Honors project involving their personal rendition of Hamlet. Students were split into four groups by their English teacher, Gale Sheaffer, and were asked to rehearse, design, and film an original production. When rehearsing the play’s most famous lines, students were able to simultaneously learn the conflicts, themes, and characters in Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy.

Each group had their own way of acting out the famous play, whether in person, over Zoom, or via puppets.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYJ47c6Ro64&feature=youtu.be”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFJvzUn1cew&feature=youtu.be”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
