STUDENT VISIT

Schedule a student visit. Candidates applying for Early Childhood will spend some time on campus. Screenings and assessments are usually scheduled during their visit day. A member of our Admissions team will contact you to schedule a visit day once your completed application has been received.

Lower Division: First – Fourth Grades

Complete the application online. Our online application includes a section to electronically request a teacher recommendation and student records from your child’s current school.

TRANSCRIPTS

Ensure that Academy at the Lakes has received two years of transcripts from your child’s current or most recent school(s).

STUDENT VISIT

Schedule a student visit. Candidates entering First – Fourth Grade spend an entire school day shadowing one of our student ambassadors. Screenings and assessments are usually scheduled during their visit day. A member of our Admissions team will contact you to schedule a visit day once your completed application has been received.

Middle Division: Fifth – Eighth Grades

Candidates entering fifth-eighth grade should register for one of our on-campus visit days. Please click here to register.
ASSESSMENTS

Candidates entering Fifth and Sixth grade should schedule an in-house assessment. Candidates entering Seventh and Eighth Grade must take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Register for this test online at www.ssat.org and enter our school code: 1057. There is a fee for this test that is payable to SSAT.

Upper Division: Ninth – Twelfth Grades

Schedule the required testing. Candidates entering Ninth through 12th Grade must take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). There is a fee for this test that is payable to SSAT.  If your child has taken the PSAT, we will accept those scores in lieu of the SSAT.
