Once your application is received, a member of our Admissions team will reach out to arrange a visit day. Candidates will participate in age-appropriate activities, screenings, and assessments as part of the admissions process.
Grades 1 - 4

Complete the application online. Our online application includes a section to electronically request a teacher recommendation and student records from your child’s current school.
Ensure that Academy at the Lakes has received two years of transcripts from your child’s current or most recent school(s).
Schedule a student visit. Candidates entering grades 1 - 4 spend an entire school day shadowing one of our student ambassadors. Screenings and assessments are usually scheduled during their visit day. A member of our Admissions team will contact you to schedule a visit day once your completed application has been received.
Grades 5 - 8

Candidates entering grades 5 - 6 should schedule an in-house assessment. Candidates entering grades 7 - 8 must take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Register for this test online at www.ssat.org and enter our school code: 1057. There is a fee for this test that is payable to SSAT.
