Academy Coach Serves Country During the Summer Months
Academy at the Lakes’ Head Softball Coach, Elizabeth Munn, spent time off the field this summer with the Army Reserves training at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. The short softball season, due to COVID-19, prompted Munn to pack her bags and spend her days training on the range fulfilling new duties.
Academy at the Lakes Student Beats Cancer and is Back to Baseball
Jack Teeter, Academy at the Lakes junior, loves playing baseball just as much as he loves talking about it. Teeter’s love for the sport deepened when it was suddenly taken away. On top of COVID-19, he was told he had cancer.
