Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have rights.
The Parents Association fosters a feeling of community among families, supports faculty and staff through volunteer opportunities, and provides a bridge for communication between the school and parents. Family participation is integral for the success of several key events throughout the year, including Homecoming Game Tailgate, Winter Concert, Friday Night Fanfare, the Gala, and much more!

The Academy at the Lakes Community Partners Program provides area businesses with a way to support all aspects of the school’s events and programs, while also helping them connect and engage in meaningful ways with our community. Through digital and print media as well as signage at major events, our Community Partners show their support for Academy while also promoting their products and services to Academy families, friends, and beyond.
Participants in our Community Partners program are featured with links at the top of the Business Directory and receive other special recognition and benefits throughout the school year.
