Here is a glimpse at Life at the Lakes in September.
September Photo Shoot
Our campuses were buzzing in September as a professional photo crew captured everything from hands-on learning to spontaneous smiles. A huge shoutout goes to our amazing teachers for making every moment look camera-ready — though let’s be honest, they do that every day!
The final shots are in — take a look and see if you can spot yourself (or your favorite Wildcat)!

Giraffe Club Speeches
Pick Me!
Our 4th Grade students embraced the challenge of leadership as they campaigned for a place in Giraffe Club — the Lower Division’s student council, named for its mission to encourage students to stick their necks out for others.
In the weeks leading up to the annual assembly, candidates explored the responsibilities of each role, reflected on their strengths, and thoughtfully prepared speeches to share their ideas.
During the assembly, they delivered their messages with clarity, courage, and a genuine desire to make a difference — a true reflection of what student leadership looks like at Academy.

Forensic Science Field Trip
The Truth Always Leaves a Trace!
Our Forensic Science students stepped into the shoes of real investigators during a thrilling field trip to the Pasco County Forensic Lab. From fingerprint analysis to examining human remains, they got a firsthand look at the science behind solving crimes.
But the learning didn’t stop there — students got up close with the Drone Team, experienced the work of the cadaver dog, and discovered the precision of the Ballistics Team. Each moment offered a unique glimpse into the fascinating world of forensic investigation.
A huge thank you to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office for opening their doors and giving our Wildcats an unforgettable, real-world experience!

Picture Day
Smile for the Camera!
Picture Day was a success across all divisions, with students and faculty showing up looking their best and full of energy.
From little grins to big group shots, the excitement was high, and the outfits were on point. A big thank you to Cloud 9 Studios for capturing the day so beautifully and keeping everything running smoothly.
Families should have already received their photo proofs — and it’s not too late to place an order through Cloud 9 if you haven’t yet.

Upper Division College Trip
3 Days. 9 Schools. 1 Amazing Trip!
With college on the horizon for many of our Upper Division students, Director of College Counseling Cassie Adley led an inspiring three-day tour of Florida’s top campuses.
The journey kicked off in Fort Myers at Florida Gulf Coast University and continued through standout schools including the University of Miami, Stetson, and Florida State University before wrapping up at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Along the way, students explored campus life, asked thoughtful questions, and pictured themselves in the next chapter of their academic journey. For some, it was a chance to discover a new dream school; for others, a valuable opportunity to narrow their list.
The trip didn’t just check boxes — it sparked clarity, confidence, and big dreams for what comes next.

SR/SK Buddies
Let’s Be Buds!
Senior Kindergartners were introduced to their Upper Division buddies, kicking off a year of friendship and fun. Throughout the year, these pairs will connect during events like House Day, assemblies, and more — creating special bonds that bridge the gap between our youngest and oldest Wildcats.
We can’t wait to share more moments from their adventures together!
