THIS WEEK’S FEATS:
Kilfoyl was her dominant self during Academy at the Lakes’ 12-0 Class 2A region semifinal win over Sarasota Christian. The senior threw five scoreless, one-hit innings and struck out 10 while also going 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.
SEASON STATS:
Kilfoyl is 9-1 with season with a 0.73 ERA and 92 strikeouts over 47 2/3 innings pitched. She also leads the Wildcats with a .580 batting average and 31 RBI.
GETTING BACK:
Kilfoyl has been playing through a shoulder injury this season that limited her innings pitched. She’s back and finishing her senior year strong while hoping to lead AATL to its second straight Class 2A state championship.
