Imagine researching your hero… and getting a letter from his family. That’s what happened to 5th grader Evan, whose powerful project on baseball legend Roberto Clemente caught the attention of Clemente’s son, Luis Clemente—who wrote to thank Evan for honoring his father’s legacy. Luis was so moved by Evan’s project that he personally sent a letter to congratulate and thank him for honoring his father’s legacy. Evan’s work was part of a powerful 5th grade research project — exploring the lives of sports figures who faced extreme adversity and, through faith and perseverance, inspired real change. 👏 Congratulations to all of our 5th graders for creating such meaningful and inspiring projects! What a project. What a thrill. What a school! #youmatterhere #robertoclemente #schoolproject #breakingbarriers #mlbbaseball #puertorico #mlbhof #topschool#coolschool#bestschool#premierschool... See MoreSee Less
