November 1: Founders’ Day
How it all began!
Happy Founders’ Day! Today, we’re celebrating our amazing school and the incredible people who have shaped Academy into what it is today. At our all-school assembly, we were treated to unforgettable performances by our talented strings, band, and chorus students. Plus, we honored our dedicated faculty and staff, including the fantastic Sarah Jeter, who marked an inspiring 30 years of commitment to Academy at the Lakes! Here’s to the past, present, and future of our vibrant Academy community!

November 11: Veterans’ Day Assembly
Thank You, Veterans!
This Veterans Day, we honor our veterans with an assembly filled with patriotic songs performed by our band, strings, and choral groups. Additionally, select students paid tribute to our heroes through heartfelt speeches and poems. Thank you, veterans, for your service and sacrifice!
November 12-November 15: SeaCamp
For all the sea has to teach us…
The 7th grade class had an unforgettable adventure at Sea Camp @seacampnhmi in the beautiful Florida Keys! From exploring the marine ecosystem to snorkeling, boating, and hands-on science labs, students gained incredible knowledge and created lasting memories. It was a week filled with learning, fun, and teamwork.
November 14 & November 15: Football and Swim State Championships
Let’s go!
We’ve got our eyes on some state championships! We had a spirited send-off for our football team who will played Foundation Christian Academy for the state championship. We also showed our love and support for our swimmers who competed for a state championship in both the 200-medley relay and the 200-freestyle relay, while Sidney R. competed for state titles in the 200 IM and 100-breast.
November 21: Turkey Trot
Birds of a feather, trot together!
The Turkey Trot tradition was a blast as our SK students raced through a fun-filled obstacle course dressed as turkeys! Friends, family, and classmates were all there to cheer them on. What a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving and showcase our awesome school spirit! Cool tradition! Cool school!
November 22: Thanksgiving Assembly
Much thanks to give!
Our Thanksgiving Assembly was filled with gratitude as our students shared why they feel so fortunate. This year, we have so much to be thankful for, including our incredible school and the amazing people who make it so special.
