FORWARD! The Campaign for Academy at the Lakes

We’re all about moving FORWARD! at Academy. So many elements of our program—academics, athletics, the arts, and other clubs and activities—all provide tremendous opportunities for leadership, building connections, fostering creativity, and personal growth. They propel our students and our community FORWARD! We’ve expanded our offerings so much; now it is time for our physical facilities to catch up and step FORWARD! Our children, our families, and our program deserve the enhancements this campaign will bring.

It’s time we move FORWARD! THE TIME IS NOW!

We’re growing! In Phase I of our McCormick Campus Enhancements, the plan for immediate facility growth for today’s students begins with a new 18,000-square-foot building.

The new building, with an estimated cost of $7.5 million, will feature:

• A black box theater
• A “maker space” with tools for fabrication
• A “clean room” for 3-D printing
• Four spacious classrooms
• An audio/visual production studio

• A computer lab
• Faculty workspaces
• Offices and conference room space
• A “learning commons/collaboration space”
