A Day to Remember!
Day of Achievement was in full swing, and our Lower Division students were eager to shine! From excited faces to proud voices, they couldn’t wait to showcase all they’ve learned this school year.
Friends and family were taken on a guided tour of the school, where students put their talents, skills, and knowledge on full display. Think of it as Show and Tell — turbocharged!
Huge thanks to our amazing teachers for giving our young learners the tools to grow, explore, and succeed. This day was proof of the hard work, creativity, and joy that fill our classrooms every day.
Lower Division Production

Our young students put on quite the performance at the Lower Division Production. Our adorable students took to the stage and brought the energy, enthusiasm and sweet singing voices to share with friends and family. It was such a dynamite show that we would be silly not to share! Here is a small sample of all the goodness.

Clap Out
Moving On Up!
As is tradition at Academy, our 8th graders took their celebratory walk through a line of cheering students and faculty—officially marking their move into the Upper Division!
Today, the Class of 2028 enjoyed their Clap Out filled with smiles, excitement, and a few happy tears.

Moving Up – 4th Grade

Today, our 4th graders shone as bright as the sun during their Moving Up Ceremony, surrounded by proud friends and family.
With confidence in their speeches and joy in their songs, they reflected on their unforgettable journey through the Lower Division. Now, they look ahead with excitement to the adventures waiting on McCormick Campus.

Odyssey of the Mind – World Finals
Out of this World!
Over the weekend, Academy students took part in the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals — and what a journey it was! With over 800 teams from 10 countries and 36 states, Academy at the Lakes proudly competed with three separate teams representing our school and state with creativity, collaboration, and spirit.
Our Classic team placed 6th overall and earned an incredible 2nd place in the spontaneous problem-solving portion!
Our Vehicle and Performance teams both landed in the top half of their divisions — a huge accomplishment on the world stage.
We also bonded with two amazing buddy teams from Shanghai, forming friendships that spanned the globe.
Academy had the honor of carrying (and designing!) the banner for the State of Florida, and a huge congratulations to Henry, who was awarded one of only six Visionary Scholarships worldwide!
We are beyond proud of our students and their out-of-this-world achievements.
