Academy at the Lakes Odyssey of the Mind Teams Shine at Regionals! On Saturday, February 15th, our Academy teams brought their creativity, perseverance, and team spirit to the Regional Odyssey of the Mind Tournament — and the results speak for themselves! All 4 Upper Division Academy teams earned 1st place in their problem and division!The Problem 5 Team earned an OMer Award for their creative and artistic costumingEryn M. from the Problem 1 Team earned an OMer Award for commitment and perseveranceThe Problem 3 Team, featuring two of our World Champion team members, earned the prestigious Ranatra Fusca Award for exceptional creativity (one of only two given in all three divisions at this year's Regional Competition)!Additionally, 6 of our senior students were awarded scholarships from the Gulf Coast Odyssey of the Mind program! Huge congrats to Alaina H., Ben H., Henry L., Eryn M., Brianna M., and Riley M.!Our Primary teams (coached by high school students) also had an incredible first Odyssey experience!Next stop — State Competition in Orlando on April 12th!
