Academy at the Lakes
In Good Hands 💙Nothing captures the heart of our Lower Division quite like the bond between our incredible teachers and their students. PreK3 teacher Ms. Becky White has formed such meaningful connections with her students over the years that she was inspired to write a song just for them. We’re so lucky to have Ms. Becky’s devotion and talent in our community. Please enjoy this sweet video featuring lots of adorable moments and Ms. Becky singing her original song, “I Owe It All to You.” #youmatterhere #coolschool #funschool #schoolpride #schoolspirit #talent #loveourteachers ... Out of this World! 🌍💫Over the weekend, Academy students took part in the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals — and what a journey it was! With over 800 teams from 10 countries and 36 states, Academy at the Lakes proudly competed with three separate teams representing our school and state with creativity, collaboration, and spirit.🏆 Our Classic team placed 6th overall and earned an incredible 2nd place in the spontaneous problem-solving portion!🚗🎭 Our Vehicle and Performance teams both landed in the top half of their divisions — a huge accomplishment on the world stage.🌏 We also bonded with two amazing buddy teams from Shanghai, forming friendships that spanned the globe.🎨 Academy had the honor of carrying (and designing!) the banner for the State of Florida, and a huge congratulations to Henry, who was awarded one of only six Visionary Scholarships worldwide! We are beyond proud of our students and their out-of-this-world achievements. #worldfinals #creativity #innovation #funtimes #coolschool #funschool #bestschool #OdysseyOfTheMind ...
